Inner Cleanse II
Inner Cleanse part II was formulated with completeness in mind. The blend of friendly bowel flora and fiber was combined to offer the most comprehensive approach to long term bowel health possible. In addition to specific bowel conditions, disease processes such as high cholesterol and diabetes were also targeted.
|Apple Pectin||Pectin has been used successfully for the control of diabetes and cholesterol. Diabetics that use pectin and combinations of water soluble fiber can often with the assistance of their physicians lower their amount of insulin.1 Apple Pectin has been used to lower cholesterol, and some studies report that it is up to eight times more effective than oat bran. Pectin has also been demonstrated to have anti-diarrheal effect due to its ability to absorb water.|
|Lactobacillus Acidophilus||The maintenance of the proper bowel flora is essential when treating and preventing diarrhea. Lactobacilli are not only normal flora for the gastrointestinal tract, but they also have anti-microbial effects. Among the microbes that they confer protection against include salmonella, stretococci, E. coli, shigella, anti-viral and anti-fungal. For all practical purposes friendly flora can be pictured as a neighborhood watch system. If they are present in sufficient quantity, the neighborhood (bowel) is relatively safe.2|
Psyllium is a bulk forming laxative which stimulates intestinal movement. In one study 82% of patients with irritable bowel improved after the use of psyllium.3 This fiber is by far the most popular fiber on the market. It is the principle ingredient in the leading fiber product available.
